It is a natural , non metallic mining constituted at 96-99% from Dioxide of Silicon (SiO2) that it is found in micro-crystal form.
FINAL PRODUCT
The stones blocks of mining that weigh from 5 to 40 kilos each, are led to special cutters with diamond disks.
SIMILAR PRODUCTS
In one only part of the world we find similar mining that brings the name Novaculite and has the same chemical composition.
EXCAVATION
The excavation of the whetstone because of the rarity and the weakness of automatism, it is done as the old days with manually-operated tools.

The Official Naming Of The Product Is Sharpening Stone but it is known also as < > or < >.It is a natural , non metallic mining constituted at 96-99% from Dioxide of Silicon (SiO2) that it is found in micro-crystal form in the Mountains Of Elouda. It is only met there with the form of layers of sediment material that is to say constituted from skeletons (basically marine) micro-organisms. From these parallel layers of the water stone that is usually from completely white up to open grey colour excavates and then produced the known abrasive material, the whetstone.
